Privacy & Data Policy — ABC Style Passport

ABC Style Passport™

Privacy & Data Policy

Your privacy matters to us. ABC Style Passport is here to help you discover your personal style — not to collect, sell, or profit from your personal data. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what we collect, why, and how it's protected.

The short version: we ask for as little as possible, we never sell or rent your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

  • Your email address — when you join our list or create an account, so we can send you what you asked for.
  • Your name — if you choose to give it when creating a member account.
  • Your quiz results (for example, your face shape, body shape or colour season) — derived from the answers you give, stored to personalise your Passport.
  • How you use the site — anonymised, aggregated data such as page views and session length, to help us improve. No personal identifiers.

Any photo you use in the "Try On Your Season" tool stays on your own device. It is never uploaded to us, and it is never stored.

What we never do

  • We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data — to anyone, for any reason.
  • We never share your data with third parties for their marketing.
  • We never use your saved favourites for profiling, ad targeting, or data brokering.

Why we collect it, and your consent

We only collect data for the purposes above: to deliver what you signed up for, to personalise your Passport, and to improve the site. Where the law requires your consent (for example, for marketing emails), we ask for it clearly and you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.

Your rights over your data

You are in control. At any time, you can ask us to:

  • Show you what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your account and associated data entirely.
  • Stop sending you emails.

To make any of these requests, contact us at support@abcstylepassport.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (UK/EU), the Australian Privacy Act, and the EU Digital Services Act; we aim to honour these rights for everyone.

Membership & account security

If you create a member account, your data is handled with industry-standard security:

  • Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text.
  • Account data is secured with encryption in transit and at rest.
  • You can request full deletion of your account at any time.
  • We will never share your account information without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

Saved favourites

The Passport lets you save the recommendations, looks and colours that resonate with you.

  • Saved favourites are tied to your account only.
  • They are never shared with other users or third parties.
  • They are never used for profiling, advertising, or data brokering.
  • You can remove any saved favourite at any time.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand how it's used:

  • Essential cookies — needed for your session, login state, and membership access.
  • Analytics cookies — anonymised data to understand site usage and improve content, with no personal identifiers.
  • No advertising or tracking cookies are used on this site.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to log in or use your Passport.
