Jaki spent her early career in the creative industries of advertising, corporate, fashion, film, music, print and television. After winning an award from the International Hairdressing Society for styling she crafted her career forward as a freelance hairdresser & make-up artist, video/special event creative director/producer and short filmmaker.

Spanning 10 years Jaki was a crew member on more than 300 productions for multinational advertising agencies such as McCann-Erickson, Saatchi Saatchi, Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather and Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB). In the corporate sector, Jaki worked as a personal stylist with executives from Microsoft, IBM, Amway, Pfizer and Australia Post, always upholding their brand and standards.

After many years as a crew member in fashion photography and television commercials, Jaki proposed, wrote and produced “A Celebration of Life” – Fashion & Lifestyles Event and a pilot video for the Australian Cancer Society. The event was reported on main Australian television networks and print media.

Freelance assignments included photography featuring Michael Hutchence (INXS) for the front cover of Rolling Stone Magazine also publicity shots for super star, John Farnhams’ #1 hit, ‘You’re the Voice’.
